History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Farideh was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Farideh's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Beast has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Gifted from a young age, Matilda studied abroad. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
