History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She tends to her Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Baern was born the youngest of three triplets. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dain embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dain was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Banker. Her red hair is lengthy. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Philomena is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Philomena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
