History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ovak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Ootah hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ootah has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
