History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anastrianna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fisher for the past few years.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nil was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gifted student she started as a Mason, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Shautha and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the north to a Servant, Nykkan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
