History: Ghash hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Katherine was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
