History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ownka was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ownka was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ownka decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hoshû is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Lamlis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Ruler, but he got bored and became a Guard. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 2'11" and prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Bundrigo was born with his mother's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Bundrigo and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Chaedi lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Barrister, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
