History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Eran was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Eran decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her rusty crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady red eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Uadjit would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Detective arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Uadjit was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Uadjit's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Namfoodle learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker mother left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: A 3'1" western man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Servant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Nicholas was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
