Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Astaro was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Astaro's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she usually wears her black robe and has her scimitar always slung over her shoulder. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her red eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Spy, but he was a colossal failure. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is physically well-built. She wears a colorful flower in her red fur. She has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 19. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born into a rich family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Altho grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
