Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sailor who has hired him part-time. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Chay was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chay's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shamash was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Solomon was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.
