History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theodoric grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theodoric. Being a Adventurer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Cora was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Jezean was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Beggar. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Duergath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Traki was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
