History: Ulfgar was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Baradad was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Hugolina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
