History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Althaea learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Andraste was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: She was born into a rich family. A gifted student she started as a Knight, but she got bored and became a Shepherd. She became a Shepherd soon after.

His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

History: Spring was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: Dagger was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and an old rival family wants her found

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He is content; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
