Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: The child of a Bellfounder, who enjoyed hunting, Chem was taken on many hunting expeditions. Chem liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
