She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is typically in his Herbalist uniform. His silver hair is cut short. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is greedy

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He takes great joy in being the best Baker in town.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Being a Baker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Dagnal is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Althaea fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Standing 6'4", this man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His red hair is singed and shortened. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ella isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Ella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
