History: Born to a Stylist, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hunter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hand crossbow use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Callie embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She struck the Barkeep job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Mindartis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
