He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
