She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Thorpe's homeland. Thorpe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has worked as a Mortician like his mother before him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
