Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oda embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the south. Oda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Oda decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Oda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kilia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She became a Cook soon after.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a scythe on his belt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 87. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her father struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Ubada is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Ubada was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Gomory hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his painting dream.
