History: Althaea was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to raise her children well

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local servant

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Qualen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
