History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Thamuz lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Mamnen was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
