History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. History: Sutha was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Cumpen liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Suhnae was a troubled youth. Suhnae decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
