He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shifting grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Arjhan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Ronwe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After months of barely getting by, Ronwe managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: She was born in the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Hunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
