Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He carries with him a set of scythes, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zepar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and further expansion of business

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is an epitome of beauty. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Hupe speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He struck the Sailor job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and further expansion of business

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hammer with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She keeps her auburn hair in a pixie cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Malquis embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Malquis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: Gûnd was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Roofer and was forced into it by his family.

History: Pikar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
