When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Alain lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Brewer, but she got bored and became a Detective. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ilga alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ilga was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
