Description: 3'7" and muscular, this northern man is typically in his Scribe uniform. His hair is auburn and curly. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 38. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Broce took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Quespa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and she's in love

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to be a doctor again

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Holg lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'10" when asserting himself. His hair is silver and curly. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Nutae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nutae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nutae. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and balancing his hectic life and new assassin responsibilities is difficult
