Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.

History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the west were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
