Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cumpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Akmen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Akmen took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
