Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Skirt grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Skirt. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
