Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Standing 6'8", this woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. She keeps her red crest in a flapper bob. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Megren's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Megren is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears long strands of topaz and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ar-Pratu grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mantus will drive conversation. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Mantus learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has worked as a Painter like his mother before him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Stylist born in the past three hundred years. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Whurbin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Bather father left him crippled. He has worked as a Stylist like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stylist responsibilities is difficult; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a kukri, but if one is not available she will default to her shield. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She is baby faced.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born to a Sailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears skinny pants and wears a tan and white robe with the hood down. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
