History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Anbera alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.
