History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Valafar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Valafar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Valafar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
