Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Maegan embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears skinny pants and wears a black and blue robe with the hood down. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When Arava reached her early adolescence her Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Born in the north to a Architect, Aramil learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Vepar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Vepar took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he's repulsed by the pc
