Personality: Emerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Hethress was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hethress's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
