She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Paela and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by her family

History: Zook was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zook was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
