History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Being a Doctor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Robert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
