History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a simple green robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His silver crest, when down, is lengthy. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Butcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He works hard and plays hard.

History: The child of a Unemployed, who enjoyed hunting, Theriatis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Theriatis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She has dyed her greying blue crest a little too much giving a sharp blue color. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Gesrethe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her brown fur is long and unkept. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Sun was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and halfling compassion

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly ceremonial daggers and warhammers. He sports a flattop hair cut. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Courier. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
