History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Mûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Mûg was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Shaena's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Andraste's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the north to a Barber, Elama learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shamash was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
