History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Elegant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Elegant was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
