History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Shautha was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shautha's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She takes great joy in being the best Barkeep in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardnab grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
