History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kellen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kellen. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gillyd isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Gillyd liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Kadana hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: The child of a Baker, who enjoyed hunting, Erdan was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Erdan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
