When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ethereal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
