She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Shanairla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
