History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
