Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nykkan has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She got into the Scribe business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Beggar kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
