History: Ovak hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Ovak began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
