History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vepar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and dwarven compassion

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is greedy

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She became a Mayor soon after.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Carpenter soon after.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
