History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Dain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has wavy black hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oriel does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Oriel reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Borun abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural tabaxi artifacts is his passion

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This man stands a little under 3'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tan armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He has green eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge
