History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and balancing her hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After months of barely getting by, Carrie managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Quillathe was born with her father's beautiful face. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Griselda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Griselda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
