Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. A friendly and beautiful Tiefling, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Bryseis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Merla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
