Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is dressed in a clean pastel cloak covering his clean studded leather. He has done his best to style his yellow fur to look like a famous performer. His copper eyes peer out from beneath his broad pastel hat.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This younger middle-aged woman prefers to wear tan clothing when she does not wear armor, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This woman wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on her left hand. Her auburn hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Healer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This man is very fat, and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is long and brown with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is an amazing painter.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Nuraval took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nuraval fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 88. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
